So Irma came and she blew our entire screen enclosure away, except for the section with the door that the dogs still insist we open for them

Has anyone recently put up an enclosure, what is new and improved that we should be looking to do once the insurance adjuster gets around to us or improvements we should make now since the pool has such easy access lol

We also had roof damage so a bit of a outdoor makeover will be happening for us but all else is well and no one was hurt so we are content with a fresh new look due to Irma

Cheers

p.s. this picture was prior to power coming back so the pool dirty lol

Each screen is engineered based on wind code requirements . When I asked my builder he mentioned rated at 140mph. I had extra roof support braces per engineering I think any sustained wind over 100 will damage these regardless. How many cable support bracing did you have on rear and sides?

We had cables at each corner of the screen, it was built to Dade County standards which are the highest in the country but it was also 15 years ago.

Dogs are still refusing to go around but we ignore them until they do lol

It really sucks not having a screen now I vacuum a lot and decimate many frogs when they get past the skimmer basket YUCK

Working on getting the chemicals right ugh
