Question on Hayward DE Filter Model Number (Pic Inside)

I have a Hayward DE filter that is at least 8 years old (That’s when we purchased the house).

I want to double check to make sure I’m reading this label right and the model number is DE2420L. (Right side of label)

Sorry for the dumb question, but I believe I need new cartridges and want to order the right ones.

I did a Web Browser Search: "how to identify hayward progrid de filter model number from serial number" . . .

A workaround to estimate the model number based on filter dimensions. You can use the following method to estimate the filter size based on the measured length from the bottom to the middle of the air relief valve:
  • DE2420: 32" - 3lb DE
  • DE3620: 34.1" - 4.5lb DE
  • DE4820: 40.1" - 6lb DE
  • DE6020: 46.1" - 7.5lb DE
  • DE7220: 52" - 9lb DE
By matching the measured length of your filter to the corresponding values above, you can estimate the model number. However, please note that this method is not definitive and may not provide an exact match.
