Push pull DE valve causing blowback on FNS PLUS?

Have you ever seen a push pull de valve being the cause of immediate blowback? I’ve replaced the entire filter interiors and still blowback.
If you are talking about DE returning to the pool as it is being added, yes. If the valve shaft O rings are worn/missing this will happen. Which valve is it? If an older Pentair with the stainless-steel shaft, the "pucks" holding the O rings are held in place by small "e" clips that break/corrode/disappear. The "puck" moves and the same thing will happen.

It’s the older (2013) push pull. De blows back through the returns within 5 seconds of adding to skimmer. I replaced the grids, manifold, standpipe, belt stripped on me.... I’m waiting for god to come down from the heavens
