Yesterday morning while I was out of town I started getting alerts for my pool (a fiberglass Aviva Lux 40). I received two different alerts: MSP_DEV_COMM_LOSS,Comm Loss Device:VSP HUA:10-01-17-65-99.
Reason:No Water Flow FlowSensor.
this is our second summer with the pool and learning as I go. The breaker for the VS 950 pump was thrown, but no other breakers were tripped. Have gotten the no flow alerts constantly for the last day and a half, but no others.

Reset the breaker and powered everything off and then on.

Breaker hasn’t tripped again. The Hayward OmniLogic app shows the pump is running and no issues. The control panel shows pump is running and no issues (other than no water flow). The pump IS NOT running. I’ve turned everything off and shut off power to the panel and let it sit (read that sometimes in brown out/power surge that it needs to reset and should be shut off for 5-15 minutes). That didn’t work. Let it sit without power for over 2 hours and the powered everything on. That didn’t work. Pulled the top of the panel off and checked all the fuses - no blown fuses. When everything powers on, it makes all the noises like it’s going to come on, but the pump doesn’t. (According to the panel and app it shows to be on- but standing next to it, it’s not.) Everything else attached to the panel works (including a second smaller pump for a water fall). Lights can be turned off and on. The heater made a sound like it was self testing when powered up. The automated valves moved. And the second pump can be turned off and on. I looked at the configuration setting in the panel and can’t tell exactly what I’m looking at.

Tried calling Hayward and they told me everything I’d already done. Told me I should call pool guy. My pool guy never returns my calls and his voicemail is full. Needing advise and some help please!!!!

I’ve read over that a couple of times. I’m not entirely sure on the pump bring listed under config. Any input on that? Is there a standard Hayward config password? I don’t have that.

Yes only 1 HUA for a pump is visible. There should be 2. Open the pump where the comm cable and power go in. 4 screws below the control panel lid.Keep the breaker off to the pump make sure all the dip switches on the blueish dip switch contact are all on 0(off). In between the power side and comm side is a metal divider with a sticker that has your HUA on it. Try to delete and add your pump back to your configuration.

Awesome Chris! Thank you very much. Will try this momentarily. When you say delete the pump and add it back. Are you saying delete the one showing and add both back? And is there a “factory password” for the config wizard?

So looking at both pumps, they both look the same. 1st pic is the one Not working. 2nd is working one. Sticker has same number on it?

Weird how they are working with the dip switches up on both. This is the HUA sticker circled. Flip the dip switch on the pump that isn’t working down like in the picture I sent leave power off for about 10 minutes and look at the sticker for the HUA. Leave the other one alone since it’s working

OK powers off. Dip switch is flipped. Waiting the 10 minutes. When I go back into the config wizard, am I editing a current configuration or adding a new one to put the HUA in for the pump not working?

OK it didn’t add the missing pump on start up. If I go to config wizard, edit, bodies of water, pool water get a screen (attached below with the option for pump. If I choose that it only shows me the info on the pump connected, not the main pump. I don’t see any places to add pump. Pics below of menus.
