Yesterday morning while I was out of town I started getting alerts for my pool (a fiberglass Aviva Lux 40). I received two different alerts: MSP_DEV_COMM_LOSS,Comm Loss Device:VSP HUA:10-01-17-65-99.
Reason:No Water Flow FlowSensor.
this is our second summer with the pool and learning as I go. The breaker for the VS 950 pump was thrown, but no other breakers were tripped. Have gotten the no flow alerts constantly for the last day and a half, but no others.
Reset the breaker and powered everything off and then on.
Breaker hasn’t tripped again. The Hayward OmniLogic app shows the pump is running and no issues. The control panel shows pump is running and no issues (other than no water flow). The pump IS NOT running. I’ve turned everything off and shut off power to the panel and let it sit (read that sometimes in brown out/power surge that it needs to reset and should be shut off for 5-15 minutes). That didn’t work. Let it sit without power for over 2 hours and the powered everything on. That didn’t work. Pulled the top of the panel off and checked all the fuses - no blown fuses. When everything powers on, it makes all the noises like it’s going to come on, but the pump doesn’t. (According to the panel and app it shows to be on- but standing next to it, it’s not.) Everything else attached to the panel works (including a second smaller pump for a water fall). Lights can be turned off and on. The heater made a sound like it was self testing when powered up. The automated valves moved. And the second pump can be turned off and on. I looked at the configuration setting in the panel and can’t tell exactly what I’m looking at.
Tried calling Hayward and they told me everything I’d already done. Told me I should call pool guy. My pool guy never returns my calls and his voicemail is full. Needing advise and some help please!!!!
