I signed up when I was looking for information on deck drains. The drain in my pool deck is actually sealed in by the concrete, so it's not removable. At least half of it is clogged with dirt and causes flooding on the pool deck when the rains are heavy. I have a friend who helped me dig out the upper end that is in a flower bed and discovered that there apparently was some sort of drainage put in the ground years ago, but that, too, is now filled up with dirt. I can remove the old corrugated pipe and replace it, and I'm planning on installing a 4" PVC pipe that will be attached to the corrugated pipe and empty water out past the flower bed. The biggest problem is that I can't figure out how to attach either the corrugated pipe or the PVC to the end of the deck drain. I want to try to make sure that the dirt clog won't happen again. Any advice/ideas would be welcome. Thanks
