I've been through all the vacuum heads, both suction side and venturi, and ditched them all. I now have a WaterTech Leaf Blaster battery powered vacuum, no hoses, no water connection. Works GREAT!!

Might seem a bit pricey, but its lasted two seasons and still going strong!

I've used the head you have linked for 3 years and it works pretty well. Someone here said they were buying this one, which has good reviews, but they never posted an update on how they like it.

I was looking at that. I was turned off because it looks too much like the one I have. Ha!
I have This and use it in all pools.
I was looking at this as well. Any issues with metal flaking or wheels falling off? You use it in vinyl too?

No flaking as it's used and then put away. Not left out to weather unnecessarily so it looks new every time it's used.
