Pool steps for an above ground pool? Can you build them in with a new liner or no? What do you guys like wedding cake?

Hello,
Thank you for helping me and I hope this is in the right section. My question is about pool steps. I live in Western Md so it freezes here. I have a 15x24 above ground pool surrounded by a deck. I have a set of stairs and honestly I just don't like the look or function and I always worry about the liner and this year I want to put a safety cover on and I don't want to have to remove them so all that being said do you all have steps you like better? Can you leave them in? Is it even possible to build steps in to an above ground pool with a new liner change? I am changing liner mine is really in need of it.
Any help or suggestions or experience is appreciated. I am willing to pay a little for custom steps if it is even an option.

Found these guys, looks like they can make something but then you would have to have a made to order liner
