So I have friend I am explaining the tfp method to, but currently her daughter is experiencing skin rashes every time she goes in their pool and only certain pools, not all. Since all the pools use chlorine and she doesn’t always get the rash I’m thinking it’s not a chlorine rash.
I asked what else she uses and everything is normal besides this Pool Magic and Pool Perfect product, which the pool place has them add weekly and monthly.
Anyone familiar with these products and either have an experience with a bad reaction or think any of the ingredients could cause a skin reaction.
I’m telling her to stay away from them in future but just trying to figure out if that could be it.

thanks

Do chemicals like that stay in the pool so if it was what was causing the rash they would actually have to drain the pool to get it out or is it more of a consumable and once it gets used up doing what it does to the water it’s out of the pool.

I just wanted to add an update in case someone searches in the future about rashes and pool magic, pool perfect. As soon as my friend stopped using these products the rash went away and her daughter is fine. She can finally enjoy swimming in her pool after almost 2 years of suffering thinking it was a sunblock or chlorine allergy. Thanks everyone for your help. They are learning the tfp method and won’t be using magic potions pushed by pool stores any longer.
