Pool Krete and Portland/Sand bonding

Started on my pool floor and had a few guys to help. Made the mistake of not having enough Pool Krete. Called for 40 bags, so I ordered 50, but still ran short somehow. I ended up grabbing some Portland cement and mason sand to finish up (see area of Portland in photo).

1.) I know the damage is done, but should I foresee any issues with this?
2.) there are some areas I want to touch up... will the Portland mix bond to the Pool Krete ok?

The floor is a bit wavy in spots, so I planned to grind the High spots and may need to skim some low spots. Am I being too anal?

Pool Krete is extremely difficult to get where I live. Several weeks back order, so I didn’t have much choice unfortunately. Looking forward to advice you have!

It's fine to use, but it will have a different feel underfoot and may crack showing thru down the road. I use portland to fix small cracks and divots in verm floors, but verm is meant to move a little and is softer

So, you think the Portland will be ok to fill in any low spots? Maybe 1/4” deep, small spots no bigger than a basketball.

Low spots I use verm. You can actually sand high spots with 60 grit on a orbital. If your out of options I would just use whatever you have or blended. Remember skim coating anything in the masonry world doesn't really hold up. It's more forgiving under a liner because water weight protects it and pools never freeze to the bottom. Easiest way to keep a nice floor is to screed it as you go in 2 directions amd use a pool trowel the same way in sections
