Regardless what the sellers claim, you cannot reduce the chlorine level. Following the FC/CYA Levels insures a safe and sanitary pool water experience.
We 100% do not recommend adding metals in to pool water. These devices do not reduce chlorine usage and the metals in the water will eventually build up causing staining. The metals also only prevent algae and do nothing to sanitize the water.
