Hi. We're considering buying a house that had a pool but the pool was filled up with dirt and turned into a golf putting g area. We'd love to have a pool but not sure where to start. Help
Hi guys, I have this project going on and want to hear any comments or suggestion from you guys. I also have some questions. My wife and I purchased this home in Athens NY in 2016 and the previous owner now deceased had a 12x24 4 foot deep in ground pool. I guess it was filled in the 80's or...
We are buying a house and would like to restore and repair a gunite pool that was buried 10-15 years ago. The owner reported that they did drill holes for drainage when it was filled. It was filled in because the owner's children had grown up and left home and it was not being used. There is...
Split off of this topic. JasonLion I was so excited to see this post. I too have never seen anything on "unfilling" a filled in pool. We also purchased a piece of property with a filled in pool. We had a 33ft round above ground at out last house and are pool people. We were thrilled to find...

Hey everyone, first time poster with many questions. This will probably be a bit long-winded, but I want to provide as many details as possible:-) So my wife and I purchased the lot next door(house was demoed due to hurr. Katrina), and there is an inground pool that was filled in, on the...
Well I have read plenty on here about digging out filled in pools. I’ve been in this house for ten years now with two young kids. Time to upgrade to a real pool so my question is. Above ground new. Or dig and and bring back to life. My neighbors confirm that the pool was filed in...
I don't think there are many pool companies that are going to be interested in trying to resurrect a filled in pool. Like mentioned above, try to find out what was does when it was filled. If you're thinking of doing it yourself, still try to figure out what was done to it (to determine if it's a complete loss or not) and plan on the worse case.
