We are about to purchase a 25 ft round Saltwater Aurora full resin pool from Pool Factory for our backyard. We are located in North GA. This will be our first pool ever and I am wondering about the choices for upgrades in Liners and Filters...should I go with what is included or does anybody have recommendations/ must haves for upgrades?

I agree we don't know what's included with your purchase. I'll add my $0.02 though, not sure what kind of steps/ladder you are getting but I would recommend getting a step system if there's any mobility issues.

I do still need advice...as I do research there is quite a lot more to pool ownership than I thought. Like Derek said all that is included is "no filtration system and a 20 gauge blue liner."

If the liners that cost more are nicer looking to you it may be worth some extra money. I believe I now have a 25 guage liner but our old liner was 20 guage I think. That lasted about 20 years - it had a plain blue wall and swirl bottom; our new one is a lot fancier and was the standard liner at our pool store.Sorry for delay...its has been a little crazy. Filters - I loved our old DE filter! I would have gotten another one but for 2 reasons. 1) our township now treats used DE as hazardous waste. No more just dumping the DE onto the grass. 2) Our last filter had grids to filter water, the store only sold filters with fingers. The pool store said they were at PITA to clean when needed.
I got a Hayward 18 inch sand filter in the package. It works well for our size pool size and use. Bigger is better so opting for a larger filter means less backwashing. I don't know the name AquaPro but Hayward is a standard pool name. One good thing with sand filters is if need be you can add a little DE to help filter finer. I haven't had to do that yet but it is an option.
A lot of people love their cartridge filters, I personally don't care for them ... I'm sure people will chime in who will tell you their pluses.
One last thing and it's about the salt water generator, make sure it can handle the pool easily. People here say get one 2x the volume of the pool volume. Mine is about 1.5 x the volume and again the way we use the pool may be OK... I've screwd up the salt in my pool last year so I can't say for sure!
