Pool brush bristle types

Pool has a mini-pebble finish, 9 years old. Looking at new pool brushes and beyond all nylon brushes, some recommendations I've seen posted online are for ProTurf, Skimlite and Oreq Pro Animal.

ProTurf is all Nylon. Skimlite has brushes with Poly Butylene only or a combo of Poly Butylene and Silicon Carbide "grit" bristles" and then "grit" bristles only. Oreq Pro Animal comes in similar combo with poly only (not sure if it's butylene or propylene), poly + grit combo, and grit only, although I don't know what the grit bristles are made from for Oreq's brush.

As far as pool brush goes, I assume that nylon and any poly bristle variant are the same when it comes to do their job for brushing, but is there any upside to having a brush with a combo of "grit" + nylon/poly or "grit" only? Skimlite says their grit (silicone carbide) can treat black algaue without scratching, and Oreq markets their "grit" bristle specifically for pebble finishes (vs. poly for plaster) so it would make sense that their grit bristles are strong.

Should I stick with a nylon/poly only brush or does it make sense to get a "grit" only or combo grit brush, given I have a pebble finish?

Pebble finish does not need any special brush.

All the rest is marketing to try and differentiate their product and get you to buy it.
