It would, depending on the filter you use. There are *3* different filter types IIRC. There is a super fine, a sand/silt, and a general all purpose (if my memory is correct).
The only gotcha with the Pool Blaster CG in my opinion (and with all battery operated vacs) is the filter itself is pretty small. Meaning they usually get filled up with crud quickly if you're picking up a ton of stuff. The finer the filter, the more crud it picks up, the quicker it has to be changed out (or cleaned). Buying extra filters to swap in/out while you're vacuuming is helpful but there's obviously more cost to that.
