Peristaltic pump for swimming pools

Guys i am looking for a proper peristaltic pump in my country for dosing liquid chlorine in my pool.
What the technical specifications of this pump should be for a typical residental pool of 18000 gallons?

Just your regular PoolMath and personal preference.

85% of a gallon of 10% bleach is 5ppm for 18k gallons. So the pump would need to be able to add that in a 24 hour period. (Or whatever the metric conversions equal with the strength of your local bleach). The storage tank would need to be large enough for whoever is filling it to find it worthwhile.

Just make sure you electrically interlock the feeder pump with the main filter pump so the feeder pump can’t run when the filter pump is off. Also, make sure you buy the optional rain shield if it’s outside and don’t put the chlorine tank in the sun. I buried mine.

It’s a 30 gallon chemical tank I buried in the dirt to keep it as cool as possible because heat weakens the concentration of liquid chlorine pretty quickly.

2 purposes… to prevent a vacuum from building up as the liquid level goes down, and that’s where the 1/4” tubing going to the pump passes through the tank.

The 2 pumps I listed above will overcome 100 PSI main pump. More than enough.

Nice setup! How do you go about controlling the stenner? Do you have it plugged into a WiFi controlled plug and set to a schedule?

My Hayward Pro Logic pool controller had a couple extra unused relays and I used one of those. It has to be interlocked with the main filter pump so it won’t run without the filter pump running.
