Pentair superflo VS screen flashing E.C. and switching to Quick Clean ...?

Any idea what could be causing my Pentair superflo VS screen to flash E.C. and switch to Quick Clean repeatedly Google is turning up nothing, and it doesn't match any error codes Pentair has in the manuals.

My mind goes to External Control - That light is not on. The unit is stored in the garage and has never had an issue.

Give Pentair customer service a call, there maybe a way to do a factory reset. Is the pump hooked up to an automation system?

I did a factory reset, it went back to EC after a bit again. No automation hooked up.

On my pump, the "EC" flashes whenever I am using a Pentair Data Cable for External Control. We have the pump scheduled for three times: High in the morning, low throughout the day, and medium in the evening. The low and Medium settings are not enough to run the waterfall. Our pool company installed a Data Cable and gave us two switches in the pool enclosure. The first will override the schedule and return to the first time period. The second will override the schedule and move to Quick Clean. If either switch is on, the Quick Clean light is on and EC flashes in the LCD. This reminds me that one of the external control switches is on.
