I have a one year old Mastertemp 400. It was working fine until last night when my wife went to heat the spa and the heater wouldn't work. It showed Err SFS and E06. I cut power off via the breaker hoping to reset the logic, but it still showed the errors. So, I turned power off via the breaker and we gave up for the night.
Today I turned the breaker on hoping the logic would be reset in some manner, but no. The control panel still shows both error codes and the heater is totally inop, blower doesn't even come on. Also, the control panel buttons are disabled. I have dug into the owners manual and am aware of the "stack flu sensor" problem and have read other similar threads on this site. This thread seems similar to my issue: Pentair Mastertemp 400 SFS Error - Heater Won't Fire Up
Can it only be the SFS if I also have the E06 code? If so, I will order the new sensor and install.
Any advice appreciated
Thanks
Jim
