Paver Colors are Really Different

Have the new pavers been cleaned yet? They can look very different until they are due to all the dust etc. regardless, I would be happy with that match and I’m a very picky person... just ask my Pb [emoji6]
Which r new? The uncovered ones right? Mine look like that now till they get rained on a few times.
Regarding that tape on those drains. Get it off! I left mine in while we worked and it took 7 days to get it off with all kinda scrubbing! Take it off and put on yellow frog tape if u want for protection and that can bake in the sun. That orange tape. The glue is wicked! My new ones came this week for my lower section and I took the tape off the minute they got to my house. The company even told me to get it off quick.
I think u r good with the pavers. If the outside ones r new they will even out.

You also have a lighting/shading effect with the pavers under the patio cover appearing darker.

Are those two posts embedded in concrete, surrounded by it, or sitting on top of it? If they sink into the surface, the wells the post ends are sitting in will fill with water regularly (it rains there, right?) and eventually rot out those posts. There are a number of ways to attach a post to a concrete surface. Below is the one I used, which elevates the wood off of the concrete and helps keep it dry. What you have there (if they are, in fact, penetrating the concrete) can be fixed without too much trouble. Fixing it now will be easier and cheaper than repairing it later.

Thank you everyone for replying. The pavers on both sides of the orange drain are brand new and just laid by the pool company.
The two project managers said that I would have to accept the color differences are pay for new pavers.
That was not acceptable so I contacted a pool company in Atlanta and showed them the pics. They said that it was obvious that the pool company purchased the pavers from different locations and for me to ask to see packing slips. I also called the manufacturers of the Belgard and they said the same thing. I even was able to contact the Belgard rep for our area and he said that if the pool company did not resolve he would come to my home to inspect the pavers.
The owner of the pool company came out and he was pretty much staying neutral until I asked for packing slips. He then said that yes, there was a major difference and that the project managers had to of purchased from different locations and that he would fix this and make it right. Yippeee!

The pavers on both sides of orange drain are brand new. None have been cleaned. Issue has been resolved in my favor they are taking pavers on the patio up and will replace with ones that match the pool side. Yippee! See below for how that was accomplished.

They really were darker and not just because they were in the shade. After I submitted pics to other pool companies in ATL. They helped me resolve the issue with my pool company here in FL. Yippeee! See my replies to this thread.

They are both new. See my replies on how I was able to resolve. New pavers are coming! Yippee! I will let the pool company deal with orange tape. It will be on punch list to scrub, scrub and scrub.

i would get it off now. They won’t get it 100 percent clean without messing it up if it bakes on there. Took me days. I scratched up 2 pretty bad but was able to replace my tops fairly easy with how we installed them for service. Then just frog of blue tape them up. Will take 20 mins vs someone who really doesn’t care dealing with it.

I figured the same two. It’s amazing how lot to lot pavers look different. I just dealt with the same issue on my build with buying my new pavers a year later the old ones last year. Hanover did some changes with thier colors. Luckily what they sent me was the wrong color. The new ones are a tad off but so far we think we r ok.
