I have Paramount Infloor cleaning nozzles with Paramount MDX-F3 in the pool floor with MDX2 in the pool wall with Paramount debris basket on the deck for my 20,000 gallon in-ground gunite pool. My bottom drain line has plugged multiple times with oak acorns mixed with a small stick with leaves and leaves. I also have a Polaris 360 cleaning system for belts and suspenders dual cleaning systems. The polaris 360 is interlocked so it does not run if the popup cleaners are in operation.
Is there any way to reduce the open area of the mdx-f3 floor drain opening to prevent larger objects from entering the floor drain.
Will the sdx2 cover fit the mdx-f3 floor drain?
Would the sdx2 cover work to reduce opening size and still allow dirt, sand, small debris to enter the floor drain.
My logic is that my Polaris 360 will clean the floor of larger debris (acorns, larger leaves, etc) to reduce the likelihood of plugging the center drain line?
Has anybody else had issues with plugging the center drain line?
I put on my scuba equipment to remove the Paramount bottom cover (which is not an easy task) and clean out the debris under the cover, then replace the cover. This is not enjoyable task any time but especially not in the winter and I am trying to prevent bottom drain lines plugs entirely.
The plugs usually happen in the fall early winter
