Seems to me TFP's and Orenda's philosophies are pretty similar. I have both apps on my phone and use both. My specific issue is during the summer I had what looked like an oil slick on top of my water (from all the sunscreen I'm assuming). This mess would eventually attach itself to the water line form a nasty scum line that was a pia to remove. So, would this product help with that? What is TFP's thoughts on the Orenda product line in general as I'm also considering their SC1000 product for some copper and Iron I have?

Thank you,
Dan

I keep 2 tennis balls in each skimmer at all times. They work amazing to suck up the oil slick that inevitably finds it's way to the skimmer.

Or you could buy slime/scum bags to achieve the same help.

I found the biggest help was being the jerk that made the kids wait a *whole 12 mins* after applying sunblock. I know. I'm a monster. They would swear on all things holy that they were dry at 2, 4, 7 and 9 mins. Sorry sweetie. You're still shiny.

I've never heard of the Tennis ball thing....just put two tennis balls in each skimmer basket? Do they interfere with water flow at all?
Will also have to research slime/scum bags as I've never heard of them either.

I'm afraid I'll have to wuss out on making kids wait the 12min. There would be heck to pay for that, I'm sure!

They just float around in there and clean up any oils.

You've only been here a minute. We got you. :)

Can confirm. But also that they lived, much to their avowing otherwise.
