Omnilogic single speed pump replaced with VSP - how to configure? Wizard?

I’ve just removed my single speed pump and replaced it with a VSP. It has power and this morning I’m wiring up the LV side. When that is done, does the Omnilogic then detect the VSP or do I have to do some setup? All I have found so far are references to the Wizard which seems to start from scratch (haven’t tried it yet)

Wow - instant support! Went into configuration but fell at the first fence - need the password (haven’t a clue was installed 6 years ago by a company I don’t know). Is there a way of resetting? Can’t see it from the app.

If you find your Configuration screen is password protected try the MSP ID number.

Hayward pub 1002786 RevA says If using OmniLogic to control a Hayward VSP, the VSP’s display must be removed. Remove the whole unit with the screen and buttons - currently I haven’t tried that.

I selected the VSP HUA offered and the Omni thinks it is now priming, fast. All quiet tho.. The suggested id (10-01-15-49-f4) is not the same as either of the two labels - (10010613 001 001 or DET-1222200619)

Stuck!

You don't need to remove the display. Just disconnect the display wires connected tot he pump. I think Hayward says to remove the display so customers don't make service calls about why the display is not working.

Show us pictures of the pump and the wiring connections.

If the pump display was not disconnected that could be your problem.

Enlarged pic of pump and Omni connections. I wish I could be certain of the HUA of the pump.. I wonder where the 10-01-15-49-f4 is coming from (the HUA on the config screen above)

Did you power everything down, wait 15 minutes, and power it back up?

That is the pump HUA. You said above that you found the HUA and selected it.
 
AJ - Yes - then I found the HUA was prefilled (not sure from where/what!) as in pic below*. I’m thinking that HUA wasn’t correct as the pump didn’t start. The label in the pump says 10010613-001-001 so I’m thinking that should be found by the Omni and would like to try entering 10-01-06-13 but maybe the Omni has to discover it. I can’t see any option editing an existing config. Somewhere in my blundering around that first HUA has disappeared.

* I don’t know where the 10-01-15-49 came from.

The HUA label is on the middle divider between the power side and low voltage side. It seems like the Omni is picking up the HUA though. Did you move the dip switch for automation all should be down. Factory set is 1 switch up. After moving the dip switches you need to have the breaker for the pump off for 15 minutes. Was your old pump wired to a high voltage relays since it was a single speed? If so it needs directly wired to a breaker.
