I figured that. But at least it's still going to produce if it drops a some. So there's some protection, vs chlorine tabs being totally disintegrated. I just gotta make it through the next few weeks now til closing. The temps are way too low for swimming, but I have to wait til the water is good and cold, since I no longer use a winter cover. We routinely get 35 to 50 mph winds, sometimes higher. Those winter covers catch the wind like a parachute and Dang near rip the top rails off the pool. Even the pool stores by me don't use them. Funny they tell you that you need them and sell them to you. Now I just cover it with the solar cover and a leaf net cover.At the lower salt level, it creates less chlorine. So the unit would have to run more.
