Does anyone have a good number for a Jandy representative?

Back in the beginning on June I sent them a lengthy email about all my issues for last 2 years. Finally got a response back about 2 weeks later. Then about a week later their teach support guy called me and explained everything to him. He told me a local rep would be in contact in a few days. Well over another week the same tech guy calls to follow up and I told him nobody has contacted me since we last spoke.
Finally on July 7th, a month later the local rep calls me. Explained to him everything that’s been going on etc etc.
begins to tell me that I need to keep my cya at around 30ish and keep my FC at around 2-3.
He was also pushing their new Jandy Truguard saying I would need less chlorine etc etc.

Guess he missed the point that my SWG doesn’t produce enough chlorine to maintain a 17k gal pool in 90 deg Florida heat that gets full sun for 7 hours.
Anyways at his request I emailed him several links to my YouTube channel that shows my pump squealing. On 7/16 I sent him another email asking him if he saw the videos and I received a automatic response that he was out of the country until 7/18.
Now it’s 7/24 and I’ve still yet to hear from him.
This seems to be the MO for the lower echelon of Jandy reps.

So I’m looking for a good contact number and name for a person High up in the company who will call me, look at what my problem is and give me a resolution. The builder hasn’t responded back either.

Here’s my original email to them.

Interesting that you can not provide that information...
Well, please have a knowledgeable senior tech or someone knowledgeable from your escalation department contact me on my phone which is listed below.
Unfortunately, with all these repetitive ongoing issues since 2019, time is of the essence.

I am on pump replacement # 3 or
4 I believe since June 2019 with the most recent being December 21st 2020.
The original first pump that was installed was a 3 or 4 year old pump. It was brand new in the box, but very old stock that was sitting on someones shelf.
I am sure you’re records will verify that and it will also show a replacement mother board for the salt cell power pack and a new salt cell as well in 2020.

On March 18th 2021 I texted your warranty representative (local pool business) to let him know my pump was squealing yet again and sent him a video.
To this day I’ve yet to receive a response.

I reached out to my pool builder around the beginning of April 2021 to let him know my pump started squealing just like every other pump replacement.
The builder came out and spoke with me. I showed him videos of the pump squealing and told him it’s intermittent just like every other time. There is nothing I can do to make the pump squeal. It just does it when it wants to.
While he was here he also pointed out that my salt cell was slightly leaking on the top where the two moldings come together. Apparently this is a known issue with the TruClear, according to several online forum’s.
The builder said he would be in contact with Jandy over this constant repetitive issue and get back to me.

On May 4th I texted the builder and asked what the solution was and didn’t receive a response.

On May 17th the builder called me and asked
for me to send him videos of said pump so he can forward them to Jandy, which I did.

On June 4th I texted the builder asking for a update and didn’t receive a response.

I have multiple videos showing all these pumps have the same issue with squealing . I can also provide my youtube url if requested.
So now 4 months later here we are with this email.

It appears neither the builder or Jandy is willing to accept responsibility for this constant pump issue. The builder has said there is nothing wrong with the way the pump is plumbed. I have even sent pictures of the under ground plumbing showing all the pipes when the pool was built to your local warranty representative at his request before the current pump in December 2020 was replaced.
In addition to this pump issue, I am having to constantly dose my pool with liquid chlorine, which I have expressed to my builder several times. According to him, that is not normal and I couldn’t agree more.

After extensive online research, I have concluded that your TruClear salt cell is not sufficient for a 17000 gallon pool in Florida and especially during the summer months.
Last year I had to run my pump for 19 hours a day with a salt cell output of 90% just to maintain a 4ish ppm of free chlorine in my pool, in addition to me adding liquid chlorine.
Running any salt cell with this high of an output greatly reduces its life expectancy.

When my pump was replaced in December 2020, I expressed my pump run time and high output salt cell % to the warranty gentleman.
If you can look at my pool schedules in the app you will see where he set the pump at 2350 rpms and timed it from 11am - 5pm, 6 hours. Even with the salt cell at 100%, this will only give me 1.68 ppm of chlorine added to the pool. This doesn’t take into account what the sun is eating up, organic matter and the swimmer load in the pool. No way this is enough chlorine to sanitize the pool.
The active schedule I have set now is from 4am - 10pm at 90% salt cell output.

I’ve crunched the numbers on this TruClear unit.
Your salt cell puts out .93 lbs of chlorine or 6.7 ppm of chlorine per 24 hours at 100% cell output. This is not sufficient to maintain a large pool in Florida. Maybe some where up north, but definitely not Florida with a 17000 gallon pool.
The salt cell is accurate for its output of 6.7 ppm at 100% in 24 hours. I’ve done multiple over night chlorine loss tests.
It’s safe to say that only algae and sun consume chlorine.
Doing this test at at night eliminates the sun and since my pool has no algae, or organics (leaves, debris etc) in the pool there is nothing for the chlorine to consume at night time. Therefor based on the chlorine level at sunset and again in the morning I am able to determine the salt cell output.
This salt cell is significantly undersized and I don’t understand how it’s designed to sanitize a 35000 gallon pool.

Also the control panel constantly loses its wifi signal. This was brought to the builders attention a week after the Pool
was completed in June 2019. His solution? Install a booster , repeater etc.
Ok, great! I installed one outside of the house and It sits about 8’ away from the Jandy wall mount control panel.
Still to this day, several times a week I have to disconnect power at breaker box for about 30 seconds to reset the control panel so it can pick up my wifi. Yet my Alexa DOT outside, which is plugged into the same outlet as the booster and also my Alexa power outlets use the main wifi router in the house with no issues what do ever. But here I am hoping to pick up a signal 8’ away?

All these issues are thoroughly documented and have been brought to the attention of the builder, your local warranty representative and as far as I know, Jandy as well.

My chemical levels are strictly maintained:
Free Chlorine 4-5
Alkalinity 70-80
Calcium Hardness 400
CYA (stabilizer) 70
Salt 3400
PH 7.4-7.8 (always drifts higher and quicker with salt pools)

I am requesting a knowledgeable representative from Jandy along with my builder to meet with my myself at my house to have a meeting a determine what the issue is before this escalates on my end.

Maybe get in contact with there boss :)

Their customer service number goes around in circles. The only person you can speak with their technical department.

You'll never reach anyone higher up at Jandy just the parent company Fluidra. Just keep calling maybe you'll get lucky and get a good rep.
