Muriatic Acid from Lowes - Paint Aisle- Safe to use?

I have an in ground, vinyl lined salt pool that I want to use muriatic acid to the lower PH and TA.

Is it safe to use this:

I can find the concentration in Pool Math. I just want to make sure I'm not adding some other additives or something.

Welcome to TFP! I couldn't read the concentration on the label. Was it the lower 14.5% strength?

For the Kleen-Strip, if it doesn't say "Green" on the front label, it is the correct 31.45% concentration. You have selected the correct one. Just be sure to "read and heed" the use and storage instructions. Used according to directions, it's just another pool chemical; it's quite safe to use and store. If not, YIKES!!!

Instead of the paint department, try looking outside in the garden section. Both Lowes and Home Depot here in Tucson have either 14% or 31% MA there.
