Morton Clean and Protect Water Softening Pellets

I found a good deal on Morton Clean and Protect Water Softening Pellets. The SDS shows it as sodium chloride 99.7% - 99.9% with various proprietary Anionic Surfactants as the balance.

Anything to worry about or can I safely use it in my pool?

I would not use softener salts that contain water conditioners. Depending on the anionic surfactant used, it could cause foaming or higher chlorine demand. Regular solar salt for softeners with no additives is what you want. The "good deal" you're getting is not worth the headache of adding unknown chemicals to your water....
