I have standard double drains at the bottom of my inground pool. They are 5 years old. They are Hayward.
They look like this:
Kafko / Equator Skimmer Main Drain Cover | Pool Supplies Canada
My Dolphin DX4 always gets stuck on the drains when passing over them, spins around a few times, sometimes more, then continues. This happens wether the pool is running or not, so It's not really a succion issue. Seems to me the drain covers are protruding a little too far out of the bottom of the pool for the Dolphin to easily pass over them. The drain cover probably protrudes out a good inch from the liner.
Is there a lower profile drain cover I could install to mitigate this?
Thanks
