Looking for replacement suggestions - broken Pentair SuperFlo SF-N1-1A

Right.

Correct.

You will get flow from the main drain and the skimmer.

You can screw in a threaded reducer to reduce the flow through the main drain.

Awesome thanks for your help - I’ll run out and grab that reducer bushing and screw it in,

If the bushing lip hits the skimmer wall, you can sand it down some.

The bushing might interfere with the float valve.

If it does, you can leave the float valve out or just not use the reducer.

With the bushing or without the float valve, you will have less protection from the skimmer running dry and possibly damaging the pump due to no water, so you have to be sure to maintain the water level.

You have to choose if the better skimmer action is worth the risk of possibly running the skimmer and pump dry.

You can always run the pump faster to improve skimmer action.

Maybe the new skimmer weir would make a significant difference.
