Looking For Fine Leaf Rake Recommendation

Background - So a few years back, I bought a nice leak rake from the TFP store. It has a nice rubber guard on the bottom, so on most days, rather than drag out my pool vacuum, I will just push it along the bottom of my pool and scoop up leaves on the bottom of the pool.

Current Problem - With all of the rain that we have had recently, I am getting a bunch of piles of sand/dirt in the bottom of my pool. Due to my pool circulation, this stuff tends to pile up in about 3 spots in the deep end.

My hope/Question - I would love to be able to scoop out these fine particle with a leaf rake rather than drag out the vacuum. But when I try with current rake, it simply passes through the mesh and back up into the water. Can someone recommend a ultra fine mesh leaf rake that I can drag along the bottom of my vinyl lined pool to try to scoop up these small piles of fine particulate debris?

I saw the one on the TFP Store, but I have a concern/question. It looks like this is a skimmer, rather than a leaf rake. I would prefer something that has some depth to the netting like a typical rake. How deep is that netting mesh, a couple of inches, or more than afoot like a typical rake.

It is larger than you think. Basket is 13” deep versus 16” for a normal leaf rake.

Since you have that one, let me ask you, if you try to scoop up very fine dirt off of the bottom, have you had much luck with that?

My jurassic Polaris 380 cleaner does a fine job of cleaning the bottom of the pool so I have not needed to do that. I suspect it would be as good as the larger leaf rake. It does not have as much of a straight edge to act as a scoop.
