Liquid Chlorine

Hi there! 1st ever post on forum. New pool owner. Test pool everyday. How long after adding liquid chlorine can you swim. Just added small amount 17 oz to pool. I have seen anywhere from 20-30 mins to 2-4 hours. Thx

Welcome to the forum!
As long as you add it slowly at a return with the pump running, by the time you put the bottle of chlorine away, jump in. Or 15 minutes if you wish to be conservative.

LOL I add it while I am IN the pool. My Mother was a Clorox Mom

I've been known to stand to the side of the return while pouring. Opposite side of where jet is pointing of course!
