Jandy valves Position Questions.

So Cal
I have a manual Jandy valve and the contractor set it to only allow 50% skimmer and 50% main drain.....There are hard stops.....the inlet is at the main drain side where the "flag" is..... and the skimmer is to the right side of the main drain.......the left side of the valve is where the water goes thru another valve controlling the cleaner then to a actuator valve to the pump....it is always off now because I converted it from return line to a suction line. and dont use it anymore for the cleaner because I use a robot cleaner.....it is still able to be used if I want.

my issue is that I am unable to completely close off the skimmer to use 100% main drain.......the handle goes to the right only 50% of the way to the skimmer line......the only cut off I have is to cut off the main drain and use 100% of the skimmer.....the handle will move the off flag to 45 degrees either side of the inlet port.....

I am wondering if there is a hard stop inside the valve that does not allow the valve to shut off the skimmer and use 100% main drain...

any thoughts? thank in advance for any suggestions

The word INLET needs to be on the port closest to the pump.
Remove the handle, carefully unscrew the lid, remove lid and re-align INLET to the pump port.
Do NOT use a power driver to remove or replace the screws - manual screwdriver only.

Use care removing the lid as there is an o-ring that seals the lid to the body.
Be sure to lube the O-ring before securing the lid.
