Good morning and thanks to all who provide guidance and assistance on this site! I just received an estimate from my builder to replace the Jandy LED light (this will be my third one in 7 years). I am in the Charlotte, NC area and the estimate is $1700. I think that’s ridiculously steep, but am looking to get opinions please. At this point, considering going without a light for now. Thanks in advance!

If your light is in a niche, then the bulb can just be replaced.

What size is the light? Can you post a picture?

Running errands now but am almost positive that it’s the Jandy Watercolors led rgbw pool light. Only pic I have in photos is during build, but I can add later.

Jandy stuff is expensive as you must purchase most items through their dealers.

You can check with Florida Sunseeker to see if the lights they sell can be used in that niche.
