Hello all. Once again I’m hitting the 5 year mark with my latest Jandy 1400 and it’s giving me trouble. It started with 120 and 121 fault errors. I tried every suggestion I found. Somethings worked for a few days and then the errors came back. Out of curiosity, I turned the system off and set the production to 70%. It had been at 100% since my pool was turning green. Now the cell has been working without errors for a week.

Does lowering production need less power? Trying to figure out if this means I have power issues. If iI do, would it be the cable or possibly some problem with the current that is coming in?

Thanks for advice!

Those errors typically represent a cell electrode failure. Either one of the electrodes (usually the center one) or the cable that goes to the electrodes is failing. 5 years is not bad for that cell if you run it for a high percent and/or for a long season. It is a consumable.
