Is my new IC40 220 (default) or is it 110?

I just purchased a new replacement IC40. to replace the one that crapped out. The instructions tell me to ensure the line voltage matches the power center wiring. If the line voltage is 200-223 VAC, I am supposed remove the lid on the power center to set the power voltage to 220 wiring which is the factory default. If the line voltage is 85-130, I need to remove the lid on the power center and rewire to 110 VAC.

Can someone tell me how I check the voltage? I had just assumed all the IC40s were 220.

So you had an IC40 with a power center and bought another IC40 with another power center???

You should really only have to install the cell and use the old power center, unless it was bad..

Even then, just wire the new power center the same as the original power center was wired.

Did you get a new cell or a new power center?

If you are just replacing the cell you do not need to check the voltage b

I don't think the power center comes wired.. It appears you have to wire the transformer based on if you are going to use 240 volts or 120 volts.

When using 240 volts (often called 220) you connect L1 to the Yellow wire and L2 to the White wire and connect the Blue/Violet to the Black wire with a wire nut.

When using the 120 volts, you connect the hot wire to the Yellow and Black wires and the Neutral to the Blue/Violet and White wires.

Thanks. I didn't buy a new power center. Just bought a new salt cell. I was under the impression I'd just have to remove the old cell and put the new cell on without worrying if the power center is 220 or 110. I'm having trouble opening the power center box because the screw is rusted and stripped and will have to drill it out if there's a need to double check the wiring in the power center box.
 
Just replacing the cell you don't need to check the power center wiring.
