My Intex Model ECO20110-2 pump runs for 10 seconds then shuts off for 1 second then runs for 10 seconds, then shuts off for 1 second, etc. I read where the temperature sensor may be bad. I took the housing cover off for one minute and the pump ran fine. I put the housing cover back on and the pump is still running. I can't find a replacement temperature sensor online. What can I do?

Unfortunately they don’t sell any of the interior guts separately- just the “brain” as a whole.
not sure exactly how the intex does its “sensing” but most swgs don’t actually have a temperature sensor or a salinity sensor they just infer this information based on the amperage/voltage measurements of the cell plates. As the coating on the cell plates deteriorates (cell gets depleted) this messes up these inferred readings.
The unit itself has a 2 year warranty & the cells have a 1 year warranty.
How old is your unit? What volume is your pool? Are you getting any codes or lights?
