Intex Pool Filter Pressure

Hello all,
I just installed a new INTEX sand pool filter (300gph). I filled it to the middle line (between min and max), with Quickrete pool filter sand.
I backwashed for 2 to 3 minutes and rinsed for a minute after that.
When I run it on Filter mode the pressure guage reads around 14 PSI (in the yellow zone). If I place it in neutral and run it that way it runs around 9 PSI (green).
Does anyone have any suggestions of what I should do to ensure that the pump operates in the green zone, given that the sand is new and clean.

Might have had the volume parameters incorrect. I did do some more backwashes and now the pressure has stabilzed around 9 psi and the water is flowing much better. Thank you.
