My in ground pool is murky and cloudy now as I made a mistake letting the DE goes back to the pool from the pump to the skimmer.

I'm running the pump constantly now hoping the DE will get back in the filter... Is that the right approach?
What would you do to remove the DE and get back the clear water?

Thanks,

Yes, keep running the pump and the DE will eventually wind up back in the filter. It will go faster the more you stir it up. DE that has settled to the bottom of the pool is not going back to the filter, only the DE suspended in the water flowing to the filter will go. If you have a vacuum that connects to your skimmer you can run that as well, since the suction for the vaccum is your pump, it is just another path back to the filter. Other things you can do is if you have a robot with a fine filter, it will collect the DE in it's filter.
