Hi, we are still in the process of finalizing our pool build contract and have a question about lights I hope you all can help me with...like the title...how many LED lights do you all recommend for 16x32 rectangle pool? One pool dealer we delt with suggested two (I can't remember if they were LED or not). The pool dealer we are going with said only one light is need, specifically stating because it's a LED light. Please help, what are you thought?

I have one LED light in my pool and it is adequate. If I was starting fresh, I'd do two in the pool, one in the spa.

2 full size LED's will light it nicely to brightly. Alternatively you could go with three smaller nicheless lights and make it nice and even.

2 for sure...1 will just create dark areas and weird shadows. Also if one ever kraps out (they are expensive) you can swim w one light until you get a replacement.
