Helping a friend of mine with his new (to him) pool that came with the house he just purchased. We're attempting to gain access to his OmniLogic controller and it says the MSP is already registered. If we can't get ahold of the seller somehow...are there options for resetting this? Looks like there's also a password set on the config screen that we do not know.

Side question, it's got two automated valves that appear to be set up to put it in spa only mode (likely for heating). I messed with it for 30m and couldn't get it to trigger the valves to move. The pool hasn't been maintained throughout the escrow process and it's a bit green on the walls. Was brushing the spa but there's no suction in that body of water (just return / spill over) so it really wasn't clearing it out. Was hoping to put it in spa mode (no heat) and run the filter while I brushed.

You will need to call Hayward and talk with Omni Tech Support to have them change the MSP owner.

Not sure about the password protecting the panel. You may need to reset it to factory defaults and redo the configuration wizard.

The config password is the MSP ID number; give that a shot and you should be able to get in to edit the existing config.
