Is the 31.45 muriatic acid at home depot the same as the 31.45 radio on poolmath? Was not sure because it had baume. Thanks!

Our Home Depot mixes the stock together so you have to dig thru the boxes to find the higher ratio 31.45

I was paying $9.98 at HD for 2 gallons of 14.5 acid. Started buying Hasa brand (31.45) at Leslie's for $16.99. Since it is more than double the strength, I use less than half the amount which results in a significant savings.
yup, my local Ace has the 31.45% and sells them in a box of four 1 gallon containers for around $28.

At the HomeDepot here they store the the higher concentration acid in a separate location in the store.

I get the higher concentration MA(20 baume) from my local mom and pop pool store. They have it for about that price in return deposit bottles. So I have not felt the need to stock up on MA, I just have the one bottle and I keep exchanging it for a full one.
