Home Contractor building Pool/Spa with new home - question issue?

A 125 Sq ft filter is too small. It will need to be cleaned more frequently then a 300+ sq ft filter.

Talk to your builder about what 300+ sq ft filters he can offer you.

The Waterway Proclean 125 is a 125 square foot cartridge filter. Here in Arizona, that would be considered a filter for a medium to large spa.

How many gallons do you estimate your pool/spa combo to be?
As @ajw22 suggests, 300 square foot or larger would be better suited to a pool/spa combo.

I still can't figure out why Florida builders use these tiny filters.

Thanks... Reviewed the permit package and on the engineering the builder had spec'd a different model. Pentair Clean Clear 150... Looks like it also accepts a 200 SqFt cartridge.
