High pH - Vinyl Liner

How worried should I be able 8+ pH with a liner pool? I tested today and was 8.2

We used the pool for the first time this weekend. Lots of splashing and kids jumping. Have SWCG also.

I don’t mind dosing with acid, but if it’s not needed I’d skip it!

Worried, no.

I would put a bit of acid in to lower the pH to 7.8.

I’m thinking I’ll try to bring my TA down to 60-70 and see if that helps also.
