If you show us your steps we might be able to help. Do you have an above ground or in ground pool? Do you have any idea what kind of steps you have? The picture will really help us the most.
Pool is a 27' above ground. Steps are round with a single rail attached at the top step and then the deck. I think they're called "wedding Cake" steps.
I can't find a spot to post my own pic so Googled one like it and posted the link.
Bad eyesight I guess. I checked all those boxes and didn't see that box. It's the bracket that broke. Plastic dried out and cracked. Both the step mount and the deck mount are the same. 3 screws to attach to deck, then one 2.5 inch bolt through the mount and the handrail holds it in place. Thank you for the help Kim.
Oh I have just the people to show this to!!! Hold on a bit while they get back to us. IF they don't have a replacement part I bet we can come up with some thing to make them work.
So anyway... I spent some time on Google and there are quite a few of these online for sale. Don't know why I didn't think of Google earlier. In the meantime, I needed to get in the pool today to finish some cleaning so I swapped the good mount to the step end and then made a couple L brackets out of some aluminum flat-bar and attached to the deck with some SS screws. Seems to work fine but it ain't pretty. I'll take a pic tomorrow.
