Hi everyone,

I have an AquaLogic / GoldLine / Hayward AQL-P-4 Logic Control Board that was working fine when I closed my pool last year. When I tried to open it a few days ago, I noticed that my Logic Board is kind of going crazy. It seems like the information on it is inverted (needs to be read from right to left, bottom to top). One exemple is that Diagnostic Menu now reads uneM citsongaiD.

It also seems like sometimes, the board is flashing and unresponsive. The LED Backlit screen works, but nothing is displayed, while before, there was information cycling through.

I'll attempt to take it apart and see if there's something I can do to fix it but I would appreciate any advice or suggestions on how to troubleshoot and repair this issue.

Thank you!

Thank you for your help, but I was hoping to find a more permanent solution for the issue . After researching online, I found that a new display is quite expensive. I was wondering if anyone has experienced a similar problem and could provide advice on how to fix it. I was hoping simply replugging or cleaning the display could resolve the issue, I haven't tried that just yet.

I have never seen this specific problem.

Can you show the door label?
If course, here it is :) Looks like the model is a AQL-P4-CUL.

I've unplugged and replugged the display, same issue. However, when powering it on and off, I could sometimes see COMMUNICATION ERROR on the display. Could it be the wire? I've been looking for such wire online but I wasn't able to find it, is it proprietary? Could I use any 4 pins jumper wire?
What are my options here? I don't really know if it's the screen, the wire or the entire board.
