I have installed an above ground pool inside a very large factory space. Pool is 27,000 gallons and factory is 60,000 square feet with a ceiling height of 24 feet. There is an adjacent "hallway" space to the main factory floor that is over 200 feet long by 30 feet wide with a 12 foot ceiling that is open and adjacent to the main factory floor described above. There is plenty of air circulation including fresh air "air movers" bring outside air into the building when needed. The building in the winter time has never dropped below 65 degrees Fahrenheit and when needed can be heated. (sorry for so much detail on the space but wanted you to get an idea of the volume of air space I have).
I want to heat the pool with a heat pump. Here's my question: given the huge volume of air space can I install a 140,000 BTU heat pump indoors in the "hallway" space described above and it function properly?
