I’ve been looking for any documentation on flow and pressure loss for the Hayward W3HP21405T and can’t find it. I can find it for the Raypak 8550, which is the other heat pump under consideration. Does Hayward publish this data? Thx

I’ve asked Hayward for the information, no response yet. I’ve read on some posts here that the Raypak Crosswind V 8550 might have a design where the pressure is too high. When I checked with my local pool store, who mainly sells Raypak heaters, they told me they haven’t sold a Crosswind V yet, but have been selling their digital and classic line. Luckily, I do have another couple weeks to make a purchase.
To my untrained eye, Pentair seems to do pretty well. Hayward now quite as good, although 8-9 at 40 gpm may be workable. Not quite linear, but the progression seems logical. As you have posted before, what is up with the Raypak numbers. 9 at 40 gpm and 13 at 80 gpm. I am leaning toward Hayward, but Pentair is back in the picture. I am in the process of rebuilding my pool pad, so I have a bit of time. Thx for input in decision
