Our Hayward Super Pump has a loud, squealing noise when it starts up. It's been running 24/7 for almost a week due to the extreme cold. I let it rest today since it was in the 40s, but when I went to start it up again tonight, it made that horrible sound.
From my search of the forum, it sounds like it's the bearings. I'm not sure how old it is but it has to be at least 6-7 years old.
What's the best fix for this situation? Do we rebuild, replace the motor, or get a whole new pump?
Who can replace the bearing if we decide to go that route?
Thanks
