Good evening all. So I discovered a break in the wire of the pool cleaner. Looking for suggestions on a repair (connectors) or is this a cord replacement? Thanks in advance!
Best to do a cord replacement. For most folks it is the safest and most reliable method.
If you are up for an adventure:
You can splice the cable and make it water proof, it takes a little effort.
- Heat shrinkable but splices.
- 3M Scotch Seal 2229 Mastic Tape
- 3M 130C Self Fusing Tape
- 3M Super 88 Electrical Tape
Proven good for over year at 100ft ocean depth.
