Hello to all,

All the previous orders of hair nets from Amazon worked fine, except my last order. The hairnets in the last order came tightly woven together like a pencil, vs the previous ones that came just Rear the pictures looks like when it's ready to be put on.

Has anyone recently ordered hairnets that came ready to use vs prespun together that you have to unfold? If so, can you pls share the link?

Thank you,

On mine where you mention the "knots" are, those get placed at the metal rod/handle points of contact with the basket. I would have to do that regardless of whether these were "knotted" or not. But even if a tiny bit of debris gets past those two small points it wouldn't be critical for me. The 99.9% of basket coverage I get works wonders.

W the type of hairnets i used previously, i never had debris get passed the skimmer baskets except when i changed them. I special ordered skimmer baskets w nothing around the entire circumference of the top. These provide a 100% uniform substrate for the better hairnets to adhere to w out the passage of any debris at the tops. This is why I'm going back to the type of hairnets i had b4 that Jim R provided a link.

These are the exact ones I've been buying and are great. Last purchase was Nov 2024.

I run pump 24/7...net stays down. Rock will always keep basket from floating in net or under net :)

With a properly functioning weir door, it’s the same as the basket floating up to the top.
The debris should still stay in skimmer

I see what you're saying about the sock floating up while the basket stays down...it's just not something I worry about with pump running 24/7 I guess.

With a SWCG and VS pump...why would we NOT want to run 24/7?
