Green Story Global CYA Remover

I just saw an ad for the Green Story Global CYA Remover. It's a packet that you put in your skimmer. They claim it removes CYA. Has anyone used it? I can't find any reviews. Thanks!

All Magic, but No Rabbit... And it is not free...

We have seen mixed results with mostly negative reviews. Most report a very small reduction in CYA.

Feel free to be our guinea pig and try it out and report back your findings.

This thing doesn't even look like the stuff that can work under perfect conditions, it appears to claim to filter out CYA by just sitting in the skimmer? If so then I would call it an outright scam compared to the other removal products on the market.

My apologies.. I had "assumed" this was just a different brand of the same old chemical CYA remover.

It does look something like a charcoal filter type of design. I have no clue how it would work, but I doubt anyone here has used it.

Would need to see a product description. Activated charcoal can remove CYA but it has very low efficiency and would require well over a hundred pounds of charcoal to remove any substantial amount of CYA. Maybe the bag has melamine in that would react with the CYA.

Either way, little bags of chemicals sitting a skimmer are useless and ineffective. That product is designed to remove more money from your wallet than CYA from your pool water.
