A pool man that I really liked quit on me last summer due to health issues. He was a good one. Rather than trying to find another honest pool guy, I picked up the mantle of pool steward with the help of TFP. Not only is my pool cleaner than it ever has been and now I know with 100% certainty that my water is gosh darn SPOT on, I actually find great joy in caring for my pool. I like the chemistry, I like keeping it clean, I like sharing it with friends and bragging about how the pH and chlorine are just right for their swim. It's become my suburban zen garden.
Anyway, thanks. It's been enormously gratifying to learn from the seasoned vets here and the vibe of the community is very nice.
